After a chaotic week in theBig Brotherhouse, theBig Brotherseason 27 cast membersfinally evicted someone, and I’m thrilled with their decision. The CBS social experiment brought back a fan-favorite twist, formerly known as the AI Arena. This season, it’s called the BB Blockbuster, and its presence in the game meanseviction nights are extra exciting.

Because of the live BB Blockbuster competition, no one knew exactly who was going to be the first person evicted fromBig Brotherseason 27. Even thoughKelley Jorgensen debated purposely losing the competition, she ultimately won her safety. From there, the houseguests had a tough decision in front of them.

Ultimately, I couldn’t be happier that a certainBig Brotherhouseguest walked out the door. This person played a messy gamethat I didn’t care for. He even used derogatory language on the live feeds.

Zae Threatened His Fellow Houseguests

His Game Relied On Scare Tactics

Zae Frederich’s main argument as to why the other houseguests should vote to save him from eviction was that he planned onwinning the next HOH competitionand would nominate whoever voted against him. Here’s the problem:Zae had no idea if he would even come close to winning the HOH comp.

Despite Zae’s claim that he would be good at competitions,he lost every single one he participated in.Those competitions weren’t against the whole house; in the BB Blockbuster, he only played against Kelley and Amy Bingham. To think that the other players should save him because he would definitely win a competition against 15 other people was questionable at best.

Plus, his threat was pointless if he didn’t have the numbers to begin with. With Zae out of the house entirely, it didn’t matter if he wanted to nominate the people who voted him out. He’s not in the game to make good on his promise.

Zae Used A Slur On The Live Feeds

He Could Have Been Removed From The Game

According toTMZ,Zaewas seen on the live feeds using an offensive slurduring a game of chess with Keanu Soto. In past seasons, language like this has been grounds for expulsion.Luke Valentine was removed fromBig Brotherfor using a different offensive word.

Because he was evicted by his fellow houseguests,Big Brothernever needed to decide what to do aboutZae’s inappropriate language on the live feeds. I’m glad that someone who would use an ableist slur is no longer in the house. Zae was the right person to evict.

Zae Wanted To Nominate Women

He Didn’t Have A Good Reason

In a discussion with Vince Panaro on the live feeds, Zae said he was gunning for HOH and would only nominate women for eviction. He went on to say he would do so every time he won HOH, according to a clip frombbscreenshotson Bluesky. He claimed he didn’t want it to be a gender thing, but then cited how the men are outnumbered.

Zae should have planned to nominate people for eviction because they are threats in the game, not because of their gender.

Plus, Zae’s logic didn’t make any sense. If Zae had stayed in the house, the men wouldn’t have been outnumbered, because either Kelley or Amy would have walked out the door instead, leaving eight men and eight women still playing. His discussion on theBig Brotherlive feeds gave me a bad feeling, and I’m glad he’s out of the game so he can’t follow through on his threat.

Big Brother 27airs Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 8pm ET on CBS.
