While there have been mentions of this ominous evil several times, it’s been implied that the tale was mostly a myth shared among pirates. Chapter #1150 might have changed this perspective by hinting thatImu is the origin of these treasures and legends.
After taking control of Gunkothanks to their terrifying powers, the body of their host began to morph, likely to resemble Imu’s appearance. The woman grew a pair of demonic wings and a tail, and manifested a trident in her hand, making her look like a traditional demon.
