When a fan asked him if some of the animated DC projects inspired his vision for a new DC Universe, he replied that several have a tangible effect on the universe moving forward, includingJustice League Unlimited.Thestate of Gunn’s DC Unionhas been unclear. Although Gunn did not specify which shows would inspire the DCU, he did reply with an affirmative, “Definitely.”

Gunn is known to be receptive to fans. He frequently responds to their queries on his social media and occasionally even responds to negative comments.Gunn recently commented on the hate he’s receivedsince taking over at DC Studios and explained that though it isn’t a great feeling, he’s more concerned about providing a positive future for the DCU.
