Epic Games has released a tease for theFortniteSeason 3 events launching in-game tomorrow, June 17. The teaser images give fans glimpses of what’s to come for the flooded map, but an image of a trident that Jason Momoa is also displaying on social media is getting fans especially excited for a potential newAquaman skin.
With Season 3 coming toFortnite, the game has been getting a lot of water-based treatment. Because the map is underwater due to the Doomsday event thatflooded the battle royale map, players are going to have to learn to adapt if they’re going to make waves on the game’s new layout. This would be the perfect time for Epic Games to introduce a skin for the DC superhero with control over the ocean.

When fans saw the trident image that Epic Games tweeted from the officialFortniteaccount, they immediately began to theorize what it could mean for the game. Some believed that the trident belonged to Aquaman and was hinting at a skin for him in the game, which would make sense since there have also been hints of aBlack Manta skinas well.
However, fans only have the picture to support that idea, so there wasn’t much evidence to hold up that claim. However, another teaser has come to light that gives weight to this theory coming from the Aquaman actor himself.
Jason Momoa posted a picture of theFortnitetrident on his Instagram story, tagging the game in the image. While this isn’t infallible proof, it appears that an Aquaman skin will be added toFortnitewith the Season 3 update, and fans have jumped into the buzz that the Aquaman actor has stirred up on social media. Even thoughEpic Gameshasn’t officially announced the skin, with this evidence, it’s safe to assume that the skin will be a part of the new content coming soon to the game.
Season 3looks like it will be bringing a lot of new interesting content to the game that’ll help players stay afloat. While a lot of the teasers are still up in the air, fans will be able to solve their mysteries when the new season ofFortnitelaunches tomorrow.
