A Ghost Of Yotei State Of Play Is Coming Thursday
Focused On Gameplay, New Weapons, And A Lot More
Despite being one of the most anticipated games of the year,we actually haven’t seen a lot of gameplay fromGhost of Yoteiyet, so hopefully, this dedicated State of Play will satisfy fans. The game stars newcomer Atsu as she seeks revenge for her family’s deaths. According to Sucker Punch, the game features thebiggest open world the studio has ever createdand a non-linear structure, letting players choose which members of the Yotei Six to eliminate in any order on Atsu’s quest for vengeance.
Despite all the design and narrative information, we have barely seen any combat or mechanics, andthose will likely be shared during the show.Ghost of Tsushimafeatured a mix of stealth combat, four different stances for satisfying melee combat, tools like smoke bombs, and a lot more. The chainedkusarigami blade andtanegashima matchlock rifle will be two new weapons that go along well with the jump to 17th-century Japan, so we may see those in action. Customization seems to be more robust this time as well, so we could potentially see a “transmog” system of some sort added.
