As it turns out,Kingdom Hearts 3players will unlock Glide when they reach the final world in the game. This means that they can’t really count on it to help collect everything on their way through, but they can return to previous worlds once they’ve obtained it.Kingdom Hearts 3players will need to go back through the worlds anyway if they want to fully complete the game, so not having Glide the whole time isn’t too much of a problem.
That’s because theBattle Gates, special challenges where Sora and the gang face off against especially powerful enemies, don’t appear until after Sora has defeated the final boss. So at least players have more reasons to go back through the game worlds than just collecting missing treasure chests and the like.
Unlocking Glide definitely makes exploringKingdom Hearts 3much easier, but some players may not know how it works exactly. Basically, to use Glide inKingdom Hearts 3, players need to press the jump button and then hold it. If players hold in the jump button at the height of their jump, then they will get the maximum glide distance possible.
One limitation of the Glide ability is that players can’t actually fly upwards. Sora will just keep the same height. The plus to this is that he also doesn’t dip downward when he flies, which would have made the Glide ability far less useful.
Glide is just one of many abilities inKingdom Hearts 3, but it is certainly one of the most helpful.
