The Netflix hit is an animated fantasy musical about a KPop girl group, Huntr/x, who moonlight as demon hunters and face off against the demonic boy band Saja Boys. TheKPop Demon Hunterscastincludes Arden Cho, Daniel Dae Kim, Lee Byung-hun, and Ken Jeong.

The movie, which ison track to have Netflix’s most-watched animated feature launch in history, was previously toppled from its position at No. 1 on the platform’s daily Top 10 movies chart in the U.S. by the Tyler Perry sequelMadea’s Destination Wedding, which is performing well in spite of its dismal 15% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

However, perNetflix’s latest daily chart,KPop Demon Huntersis back on top in the United States. On July 18, it pushedMadea’s Destination Weddingdown to No. 2, climbing back up to its perch at No. 1 and maintaining that position through July 19 as well.
