Love Island USAseason 7 episode 22 sawthe original Islanders and their new matches reunite with the Casa Amor group, finally meeting one another’s new partners and making decisions on their matches that will change everything for the future of the competition. ThroughoutLove Island USAseason 7, the Islanders were ready for Casa Amor to change everything, and it delivered on its promise.
WhileLove Island USAseason 7’s castwas hopeful they’d be able to move through Casa Amor without too many ripple effects, but their relationships shifted quickly after splitting between the two groups. Throughout the season,Love Island USA’scast has brought the drama, butthe recoupling after the original ladies came back to the villa after Casa Amor with their new partners was tough.
After the Islanders reunited,host Ariana Madix let them knowthey’d be going through a massive recoupling. Making major decisions about the relationships they’d stay in for the next stretch ofLove Island USAseason 7,the Islanders had some shocking moments and some heartbreakthat they’ll have to work through moving forward. Nothing will be the same onLove Island USAmoving forward.
Nic & Olandria Decided To Remain Platonic
Their Romance Wasn’t Right For Either Of Them
AfterLove Island USAseason 7 episode 21, it was clear that there was something happening between Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe. The pair were tasked to couple up after both being dumped from the villa to return, andthey both seemed clear that they were attracted to one another. While they weren’t sure what was next, they decided to try things out.
While Nic and Olandria were clear that they shared an attraction, they weren’t entirely sure about starting a relationship or continuing to stay coupled up. Olandria was still very much feeling strongly for Taylor Williams, while Nic was stillhopeful about his connection with Cierra Ortega. Though they’d let things get physical during a steamy make out,they decided to end it there.
Olandria shared she was interested in fixing things with Taylor, while Nic was hopeful that Cierra wouldn’t come back from Casa Amor with a stronger connection than what they had together. While there were still feelings floating around between Nic and Olandria, they didn’t want to throw away their original relationships onLove Island USA. Instead,the pair decided they were better as friends.
One Big Relationship Didn’t Last Through Casa Amor
As Casa Amor wound down,it was clear that it was time to bring the Islanders back to the main villa and see what had shiftedduring the week. The ladies and the new guys came back toLove Island USA’smain villa,shocked to find Olandria thereafter she’d been dumped. Their excitement, unfortunately, was short-lived as things got serious.
When host Ariana came in to share how the big recoupling would work, the Islanders were floored. Making their way to their respective heart platforms, each Islander and both of their matches from the villa and Casa experiences came forward. The Islanders each matched up, either choosing their villa partner or their Casa partner. Unfortunately,some Islanders and Bombshells were left behind.
The new couples in the villa all appeared to be happy with their matches, and ready to move forward with the rest of the season. While some of theLove Island USAseason 7 cast memberswere tentative to pick their new matches, others were overwhelmed when they fell back into their old relationships.By the end of the recoupling, everything had changed.
Four Bombshells Left The Villa After A Massive Shift
The Islanders Voted To Keep Two Vulnerable Singles Around
Throughout the episode, it was clear that there was going to be a huge shift by the end of the episode. After the Islanders got back to the villa and reconvened, they had to make some tough choices about who to recouple with. Ultimately,the Islanders had to choose two Islanders to keep of the six vulnerable Islanders left.
After deliberation, the Casa Amor team chose to keep one of the three guys,deciding that Elan Bibas was the guythey wanted to keep, sending JD Dodard and Zac Woodworth home. The Islanders of the mainLove Island USAvilla decided out of OG Islander Olandria, Vanna Einerson, and Coco Watson that Olandria was the one to stick around.Vanna, Coco, JD, and Zac were sadly sent home.
