She-Hulk Confirms Mel Brooks Exists in the Marvel Universe

And She Represents Him, Too!

For those unfamiliar, Mel Brooks is one of the most lauded comedians in the entertainment industry. With a career that spans decades, Brooks is responsible for some of the most beloved comedy movies of the 20th century, includingThe ProducersandYoung Frankenstein, both of which have been adapted into award-winning Broadway plays.

It does seem a bit odd that Jennifer Walters would represent Mel Brooks, but she’s had unusual clients before. Plus, she’s one of the most well-known lawyers in New York City and if anyone wouldn’t bat an eye at being represented by She-Hulk, it’d be Mel Brooks. Not to mention, with She-Hulk’s comedic background, it’s a perfect fit.

Will Fans Ever See Her Represent the Legend in Court?

It’s easy to overlook that, unlike her cousin, She-Hulk works best in comedy and some of her best stories have been ones that have a fourth wall-leaning, tongue-in-cheek vibe to them. That gels perfectly with Brooks’ comedic sensibilities, and it makes sense that She-Hulk would probably like (and even brag)about getting to represent Mel Brooks.

Chances are fans won’t be seeing Mel Brooks use She-Hulk in a legal capacity anytime soon. But it’s still cool to see Marvel honor a living legend. And who knows, maybe one day Brooks will pop up in a She-Hulk book andMarvelfans will see how much she actually vibes with the comedic icon.
