However, even if some of the many Spider-Man villains don’t make big appearances inMiles Morales, some of them are still showing their influence in New York City. Reddit user 1400Diggg recently posted their interesting discovery around Fisk tower inSpider-Man: Miles Morales. In the 2018Marvel’s Spider-Man, Fisk Tower is under construction, but a year later inSpider-Man: Miles Moralesthe building looks complete, acting as another large structure for players to climb on and swing from.
Wilson Fisk, the owner of Fisk Tower, is also known as the Kingpin, a character who appears as an antagonist inMarvel’s Spider-Man, being the first major villain Peter Parker faces. The Kingpin appears in other Marvel media too, including his portrayal byVincent D’Onofrio in both theDaredevilandHawkeyeshows. Kingpin also has a cameo inSpider-Man: Miles Moralesand alongside that small appearance, to know his Tower has finished construction may indicate his resurgence in New York City, even as he runs his empire from behind bars.
This detail could indicate a return for Kingpin inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, or could just be a great piece of attention to detail by Insomniac. For those that want to see more Kingpin in their Spider-Man games, amod for the PS4 version ofMarvel’s Spider-Manmade the giant brawler playable. Mods for the PC version of the game have also been changing up who players swing around New York as, even making Kermit the Frog playable.
Spider-Man: Miles Moralesis available now for PS4 and PS5, with a PC version coming on November 18.
