Despite some fans showing concern about the current state ofMarvel vs Capcom: Infiniteand its ever-growing roster, Capcom seems keen to keep adding to it in the build up towards its inevitable release this September. Given the Marvel half of its name,MvChas always been keen to have a presence at the annual San Diego Comic-Con event when a new title is on the way. This year was no exception, asSpider-Man, Frank West, Nemesis, and Haggarwere all confirmed for inclusion.

Now a new gameplay trailer has dropped showcasing the aforementioned characters, as wellGamora fromGuardians of the Galaxy, in action. Given that all of the characters revealed during SDCC were already featured inUltimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, it doesn’t look as if the movesets have changed all that much in the jump to the sequel. Even then, it’ll be interesting to see how they each play into the narrative ofInfinite’s crossover-fuelled campaign.

Gamora, on the other hand, should make for a fun new addition to the series, albeit with a predictable arsenal of attacks. The gameplay trailer shows her utilizing her sword and handgun-esque lasers to deliver the hurt to her opponents. Those wishing to see her and the others inMarvel vs Capcom: Infinite’s latest gameplay trailer can do so below:

These fighters all join the likes of the recently confirmedJedah fromDarkstalkers, and they’ll likely be joined by even more. Of course, just who else will end up making the final cut remains to be seen, but there are a lot of major characters back from both sides.

Fans remain hopeful thatX-MenandFantastic Fourheroes and villains will eventually be allowed the opportunity to join the fight, but reports have claimed that Marvel opted to leave them out to focus on members of its own MCU. This could very well change with the upcomingMarvel vs Capcom: Infinite DLC, but so far there has been no sign of fan-favorites like Wolverine, Deadpool, or Doctor Doom.

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinitearrives for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 14, 2025.
