Fans of the originalMediEvilfor PS1 finally got the remake they have been begging for. The remake is a beautiful redo of the original; it stays true to the feel and look of the PS1 version while adding extra content and better graphics. The treatment of the remake has givenMediEvilhigh praise from reviewers.
Witheverything new in the PS4 version ofMediEvil, some fans of the game may have missed something old. Players can unlock the entire original PS1 version ofMediEvilinside of the 2019 Ps4 version.

Unlocking the Original
The way to unlock the original game inside of the new game is pretty simple: complete all 19 souls challenges. While players are digging around for all of thehidden chalices to unlock the good ending, they can also find the lost souls and unlock the PS1 version. This will also earn players two trophies; Lost and Found for finding the souls and Soul Savior for putting them to rest.
Where are the 19 Souls Challenges?
Thankfully, no souls are completely missable; players can go back and get them at any time. Players may have to unlock obstacles orbreak bouldersto get to each of these souls. Once the Entrance Hall soul has been found, it will unlock all the others. Also, players must finish the level after finding the soul to be able to take it to rest.

While this may seem like a lot of work, it looks like it’s worth it to be able to play the original PS1 version. It also adds some things for players to do, which is great sinceMediEvildoesn’t take long to beat.
