A Minecraft Movie 2 Will Feature A Lot More Of Alex
Based On The First Film’s Post-Credits Scene
A Minecraft Moviefeatures a post-credits scenethat introduces another majorMinecraftcharacter: Alex. Alex is the female protagonist ofMinecraft, with her being one of the most well-known playable characters in the game. Many fans ofMinecraftwere hoping that Alex would be featured inA Minecraft Movie, and while she technically was thanks to the film’s post-credits scene, she barely played a role in the film. Steve goes back to Earth and knocks on a door in the film’s final scene, with Alex answering.
Based on this post-credits scene, Alex will probably appear inA Minecraft Movie 2. It isn’t yet known how Steve knows Alex, if Alex is a master crafter, or if she has a connection to the world ofMinecraft. Based on how Steve was characterized in the first film,Alex will probably be a normal human who travels to the Overworld and learns its ways. Since one of the biggest problems with the firstA Minecraft Moviewas that its non-Steve human characters were fairly boring, having another properMinecrafthuman be introduced will help this.
Alex Joining Steve In A Minecraft Movie’s Sequel Is A No-Brainer
She Is Minecraft’s Other Protagonist
Since Alex was introduced in the post-credits scene ofA Minecraft Movie, it seems obvious that she will join the main cast in the sequel. It would be weird to tease her introduction and not do anything with it, and luckily, her involvement has already been confirmed.A Minecraft Moviedirector Jared Hess said that Steve and Alex will be involved with the nextMinecraftstory, a confirmation that surely has many fans of the franchise excited. The character we teased is Alex, the other massively critical character inMinecraft. It’s Steve (Black) and Alex, and so that’s the one that we will be bringing to the table without a doubt.
Interestingly, Alex’s face was obscured inA Minecraft Movie’s post-credits scene, meaning that viewers don’t yet know who will be playing her. Since a big name like Jack Black headlined the firstA Minecraft Movie, it wouldn’t be surprising for an equally big name actress to play Alex inA Minecraft Movie 2.There are all kinds of options for who could play Alex in the sequel, with this being one of the biggest questions surroudning the nextMinecraftmovie.
Alex & Steve Will Give A Minecraft Movie’s Sequel Greater Potential
Since She Is A Blank Slate
Since Alex and Steve will team-up inA Minecraft Movie 2, the sequel has much greater story potential. Even if Alex hasn’t been to the Overworld, her history as aMinecraftcharacter means that she will probably become a master crafter on the same level as Steve. This means that the sequel could have even more interesting builds, allowing for a more creative time.
On top of that, Alex’s connection to Earth means that new human characters can be introduced. The main human characters inA Minecraft Moviehave a fairly small circle of influence, and the introduction of Alex could change this. Much like Steve, Alex is a blank slate, meaning that the sequel toA Minecraft Moviecan do a lot with her.
