Not too long ago, Capcom announced that amatchmaking fixwas on the way for the Xbox One version ofMonster Hunter World, as many fans on the console had encountered issues when attempting to team up with others online. Now, the video game publisher and developer has released a new update for the action-RPG that provides general matchmaking fixes for the Microsoft system.

As seen below in the tweet from the official Twitter account forMonster Hunter World, Update 1.0.0.8 is now live for Xbox One fans, with the patch rectifying all matchmaking functionality issues on the platform, including “Matchmake”, “Filter Search”, “Squad Sessions Session” and “Respond to SOS”. What’s more is that PlayStation 4 players also received a new patch for the game with Update 1.0.3 fixing a problem related to gathering points and bounties not working properly, as well as issues stemming from the wielding of the Hunting Horn.

Capcom’s release of these patches for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions ofMonster Hunter Worldcoincides with the company publishing avideo guide about how to play onlinetoday, which should be a boon for newcomers still struggling with figuring out how matchmaking even works. After all, it’s safe to presume that not everyone will go into the game with knowledge on how the feature can be utilized.

All things considered, withMonster Hunter Worldhaving just launched several days ago, the turnaround on Capcom’s matchmaking fixes is relatively quick. Nevertheless, some Xbox One fans who had to wait until the fixes were implemented likely won’t see the update as coming fast enough. At any rate, the latest patch should have rectified most, if not all matchmaking problems on the platform, which should keep fans content for the time being.
