Recently, aMortal Kombat 11leak suggested that DLC characters could include returningMortal Kombatcharacters such as Nightwolf, Sindel, Fujin, and Sheeva, among other guest characters such as Joker and the Terminator.  However, theMortal Kombat 11leak also listedThe EvilDead’s Ashwhose actor recently stated was not actually on the roster, and because of this, many have begun to doubt the leaked DLC characters.

Nevertheless, we do know thatMortal Kombat 11will see franchise characters who appeared in previous entries coming back as DLC, with Shang Tsung already confirmed as the first DLC character. This fact has led to a vocal portion of the fan base airing their support for the likes of fan-favorite characters such as Nightwolf, Ermac, Reptile, Mileena, or more returning in some capacity, but given the long-running history of the franchise, there are actually tons ofMortal Kombatcharacters that could appear as DLC characters.

It’s worth mentioning that some of these characters already appear inMortal Kombat 11, just not as playable characters. For example, Takeda, Kenshi, andErmac can be found inMortal Kombat 11’s Krypt, among others. This doesn’t mean one way or the other that these characters could appear as DLC, but it’s interesting to find nods to these characters already in-game.

The originalMortal Kombatreleased in 1992, and as such, the franchise has had tons of characters over the years. Here’s the full list of characters that could appear as DLC inMortal Kombat 11, but it’s worth highlighting that none of these characters have been confirmed at the time of writing:

It’s not possible for every single character to appear in the game for one reason or another (Mileena, for example, is dead following the events ofMortal Kombat X). Despite the fact that some characters simply cannot appear, leaks revealed thus far suggest that the DLC roster could be as hefty as19 potentialMortal Kombat 11DLC characters. Only time will tell, though.
