Over the last month,Mortal Kombat 11developer NetherRealm Studios has been teasing fans with the imminentrelease of Sindel. As the last remainingMKfighter (read: non-guest character) joining theMortal Kombat 11roster as DLC for Season 1, there is a lot of weight on her shoulders. It’s a good thing then that most of what players have seen of Sindel keeps in line withMK’s sensibilities.

This week, NetherRealm held a KombatKast stream that focused on the ins and outs of Sindel inMortal Kombat 11. Players got a feel for her intro, posing, and what types of combos will make her a formidable fighter inMK11. On top of that, NetherRealm also revealed a second fatality for Sindel that is arguably more brutal than the first.

Since Sindel’s most iconic element is her hair it only makes sense that one of herMortal Kombat 11fatalities uses those lengthy follicles. However, where past hair-related fatalities have been relatively tame, this one is downright gross. Sindel stretches her hair out to impossible lengths, enters the mouth, lets it wrap around her opponent, before it starts poking through them like butter. Eventually, the hair comes to its final destination and bursts through the opponent’s eyes and then rips them apart in typicalMortal Kombatfashion.

Although it won’t be fully clear until Sindel releases next week, but it seems like the character is going to be strong in the zoning department. Through the use ofSindel’s “ghost” partner, Sindel appears to have enough tools to keep opponents at bay, before leaping in for some strong combos.

Whether or not Sindel will be a top tierMortal Kombat 11fighter is unclear, but no doubt MK fans will her put through the paces. There has been a lot of anticipation for Sindel from die-hardMKfans, who have had to wait a while to see another familiar face join the roster.

After Sindel, there are two more character releases – and some smaller, cosmetic-based events – before Kombat Pack 1 completes its run.Joker will release in Januaryand then highly anticipated guest character Spawn will release in March. There are rumors that a Kombat Pack 2 is also in the works, and the characters in that pack have seemingly leaked, but for now those three characters are who fans have to look forward to.

Mortal Kombat 11adds Sindel on November 26 for Kombat Pack owners and December 3 for everyone else.
