The small forward is a tough position to define both in the NBA and inNBA 2K24. At any moment, they need to be able to defend against point guards and centers. On occasion, they also need to be able to take over at either position as well.

On offense, find out what the defender is gifted at stopping and then simply do something else. Eventhe best small forwards in the gameare not this versatile.

Perhaps the signature feature of this build is its ability to dribble. Very few forwards are prepared to deal with a forward with the handles of a point guard, so size up an opponent and then either drive or shoot from range when they make a mistake. Even if their build is purely defensive, use the excellent passing to find an open man when getting double-teamed.
It’s easier to say which badges this build doesn’t have than ones that it does have and this is very evident on defense. This build has gold Clamps, Fast Feet, and Pick Dodger badges to go along with Hall of Fame Challenger and Off-Ball Pest. When onthe right team for a small forward, don’t be afraid to switch off opponents since a small forward with these badges can stomp down any player on the court.
