In less than two weeks, fans will finally get their hands on Insomniac’sSpider-Man. To prepare for the highly anticipated launch, Insomniac has been releasing trailers to showcase various aspects of the upcoming game featuring the iconic J. Jonah Jameson. The previous trailer highlighted the web-slinging hero’scombat abilities, and today’s trailer showcases the villains that players will encounter in the game.

In the new trailer, J. Jonah Jameson goes over the rising crime rate in New York and blames the web-slinging hero for escalating the conflict. Several villains make an appearance in the trailer, including many who were revealed during theSpider-ManE3 trailer.

Familiar faces like Electro, The Vulture, and Rhino all show up as part of this crash course on villains. Wilson Fisk also makes an appearance, though in handcuffs. Jameson argues that Spider-Man is the inspiration for the rising trend of supervillains like these bad guys.

Check out the new trailer below:

While there weren’t any new faces added to the roster here, Jameson does highlight Silver Sable and her group of mercenaries, saying that they should be the ones dealing with the supervillains, not Spider-Man. It seems that Silver Sable will be playing an important role in the game, thanks to some hints in theSpider-Manstory trailer. From the looks of it, Silver Sable’s organization isn’t quite what it seems, and Mary is investigating the group of mercenaries.

While there isn’t a ton of new information from this J. Jonah Jameson trailer, it is a good crash course for what enemies players can expect to face off against whileexploring New York City. Players don’t have much longer to wait before they too can swing around New York City and fight crime as the loveable web-slinging hero.
