Based on Supermassive Games' 2015 interactive horror movie video game of the same name, where players' choices affect the story’s outcome, the new horror movie, released on April 25, follows a group of friends who are forced to be hunted by a masked killer every night.Until Dawn’s cast includes Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Yoo, and Peter Stormare.
According toThe Numbers,Until Dawnhas crossed the $20 million global box office milestone within a weekof its release, with $10 million each from domestic and international revenues. The movie currently ranks 47th in the all-time domestic box office for movies based on games and is the 32nd highest-grossing movie at the domestic box office, first released in 2025.
