Square Enix’s Tokyo RPG Factory is handlingOninaki, and it’s wearing itsFinal Fantasyinfluences on its sleeve.
The newest character trailer is for “Zaav,” who is literally just a Dragoon from theFinal Fantasyseries. Jumping abilities? Check. Armor? Check. Lance? Oh you better believe that’s a check. Square Enix says he’s sturdy enough to take some hits as a medium build character, but is still swift enough to leap around the arena at will. Other playable characters include the axe-wielding offensive “Wil,” the rogue-like “Rigan,” and the ranged pistol/crossbow-centric “Dia.”
