With the release of the new looter-shooterOutriders, some players have come across a couple of problems. Several have already been fixed, including the server issues that forced People Can Fly totemporarily shut downOutridersserversearlier today. There is a weird little bug in-game that remains, however, and that’s the missing HUD glitch.
Missing HUD
Several players have reported that their HUD has disappeared from their screen while playingOutriders, and nothing seems to bring it back. The HUD is absolutely necessary to help find objectives, a player’s position onthe map of Enoch, and see their health bars and cooldowns. However, it can disappear for unknown reasons while players are hunting down enemies and traversing their wild new world.

The Quick Fix
While it is unknown currently what triggers the loss of HUD, there seems to be some connection betweenplaying crossplay with Outridersthat are using PCs while the others are using consoles. Thankfully, players can quickly fix this little bug with a few settings changes and restarting the game a couple of times. This fix was discovered by a YouTuber on March 31st. This fix is a little strange and quite an annoyance to fans of the game, but it seems to work well enough until the developers can fix whatever is triggering the HUD’s disappearing act. While the developers are hard at work looking into thebugs and problems associated with the newOutridersrelease, it is unknown when this issue will get looked into. Since there is a fix, as strange and disruptive as it is, it is unlikely that this item will be high on People Can Fly’s priority list. But hopefully players won’t have to worry about their HUD disappearing for long. Until then, players will just have to keep turning the options on and off to get their HUD back.
