There are many spices inPaliathat can be used for cooking, or for other usessuch as completing Bundlesor providing villagers with their requested items. Some of these spices are quite difficult to locate, however, which can make it hard for players to finish up their required tasks quickly.
If you are struggling to locate some Heat Roots in particular, this guide will provide you with some of its frequent locations. This spice is one of the rarest in the game, so you will most likely be spending a bit of time foraging through the Bahari Bay map.
Where to Find Heat Root in Palia
Although the Heat Root is very rare inPalia, there are a few locations where you can findthe cooking ingredientconsistently. They will frequently appear oncliffsidesin theBahari Baymap only. Wherever there is a mountain, you can check the sides to see if you can spot a Heat Root.
However, since they are rare, there is one particular location where we have found it most frequently: on the cliffsides near theStatue Garden and Coral Shores. You can use the above map image as a reference to where we found a couple in those areas.
If you just look above you on the mountainside, you’ll see aglowing orange spotthat will be the Heat Root. You can either climb the mountain and grab it on your way up, or if you are already on top, you can get it on your way down. Though this spice is considered rare, they are actually relatively easy to find since they glow and stand out against the gray rocks.

Then, you can use any remaining ones you have to create some great dishes, like asimple batch of Sushi, or some delicious Chapaa Masala.
