That is, until now, as Atlus has surprise-launched the critically-acclaimedPersona 4 Goldenon Steam. Announced during The PC Gaming Show,Persona 4 Goldenis now available on PC worldwide, and it comes with some important enhancements not available in other versions of the game.
As confirmed during The PC Gaming Show,Persona 4 Goldenon PC has full HD visuals, meaning the game looks better now than it ever did on PlayStation 2 or PlayStation Vita. It also supports Steam Achievements and Trading Cards, plus it has options for both English and Japanese voice acting. The latter was absent in the originalPersona 4 Goldenrelease onPS Vita, so it will definitely be appreciated by hardcore fans of the franchise.

Anyone interested in checking outPersona 4can download the game now for $19.99 onSteam. They can also purchase thePersona 4 GoldenDigital Deluxe Edition for $24.99 as well, which includes the game, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack with nine tracks.
The launch ofPersona 4 Goldenon PC is a celebrated event for sure, and it will be interesting to see if this means otherPersonagames will make their way to the platform as well. Fans would no doubt want to seePersona 3and the recently releasedPersona 5 Royalon PC, though the latter has so far maintained its PS4 exclusivity, despite rumors of a potential Nintendo Switch port.
IfPersona 4 Goldenis a sales success on PC, one has to imagine that Atlus will look into bringing the otherPersonagames to the platform as well as other consoles. All things considered, it seems like a missed opportunity that thePersonafranchise isn’t more widely available. After all,Persona 5’s Jokeris available forSuper Smash Bros. Ultimateplayers on Switch, so it’s a bit strange that the game he’s in isn’t also available on Nintendo’s handheld/home console hybrid.
