Atlus made the announcement a couple of months ago thatRoyalwould be coming to the west in 2020, with Japanese fans set to grab the game on its July 08, 2025 launch date. Now, the developer has also confirmed that the game’s western version will be available for PlayStation 4 sometime next spring. This release date announcement was also accompanied by a new trailer which, among other things, showed off team attacks alongside Kasumi and her Persona.
While the announcement still leaves a decent-sized chunk of time, Atlus does have other projects in currently in the works that could also excite fans, including a semi-remake ofCatherinecalledCatherine: Full Body. The studio has also been working on anaction-based spinoff of the gamecalledPersona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, which doesn’t currently have a release date. Fans of the series have also been hoping for a Nintendo Switch port ofPersona 5, though despite rumors, this doesn’t appear to be happening anytime soon.
