Sony Interactive Entertainment announced just the other day that a majorPlayStationevent would be happening very soon. As a matter of fact, the PlayStation Showcase 2021 is going live today, on September 9th. According to Sony, the live-streamed gaming event will run for about 40 minutes –according to Sony— and will include updates from some ofPlayStation’s development studios. The games shown will include ones releasing soon and games releasing at a later time.

ThePlayStation Showcase 2021live stream will premiere on September 9th, 2021, at 1 PM PT / 2 PM MT / 3 PM CT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM BST / 10 PM CEST. If anyone misses out on the show, they will be able to watch the entire video on PlayStation’s channels.

What to Expect from the PlayStation Showcase 2021
As to what fans can expect from the gaming showcase, several rumors have cropped up in the past few days. After being absent for most of 2021,Square Enix’s action-RPG Forspokenis rumored to appear during the showcase. There are also rumblings of a potentialUncharted-related reveal, a look at a newInfamousgame, and a first look at theAlan Wakeremaster from Remedy. Of course, these are all rumors, so they should be taken with a grain of salt, but some updates are more likely to happen.
