Pokemon GOplayers have a lot going on in February and some surprising Pokemon are getting their moment in the spotlight. One ofthe many events going on in Februarywill give players a chance to encounter Lickitung in Battle Raids at an increased rate and earn an exciting exclusive move.

ThePokemon GOLickitung Raid Day event takes place on February 15 and finally makes Body Slam an option for the Pokemon. Although Lickitung isn’tthe most PvE relevant Pokemon in the game, it is still a fan favorite and can be put to good use in Trainer Battles. As it turns out, fans of Lickitung’s evolution is going to profit from this Raid Day, as well.

Many trainers were a bit confused after the event announcement about whether or not Lickitung’s evolution, Lickilicky would also gain a new move for their arsenal during the exclusive move window. Although it wasn’t clear at first, Niantic has since responded to questions from the community and confirmed that Lickitung’s evolved into Lickilicky during the event time frame will also know Body Slam.

Lickitung Raid Day Date And Details

On Saturday, July 05, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time Lickitung will be in four-star raids and know Body Slam!

You can receive up to five additional Raid Passes at no cost during the event by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms

You cannot hold more than one of these Raid Passes at once, and they will not be available after the event ends.

Lucky Trainers might encounter Shiny Lickitung!

The short event only spans a few hours, so players should make sure to plan ahead and get out for a few Raids while they can this weekend.
