Fans have already been able to claim thePS Plus free games for December 2022, which includeMass Effect: Legendary Editionas a headliner, and it seems clear that the Extra games match this tier in terms of quality.

PS Plus Extra Games List December 2022
It’s an impressive lineup representing major AAA franchises, like theMiddle-Earthseries, a couple ofYakuzagames and a spin-off inJudgment,and threeFar Crygames. However, there are some great smaller games to complement these as well.Mortal Shellis a solid Soulslike title,The Pedestrianis easy to get trophies on, andPillars of Eternity 2is an Obsidian Entertainment game.
Of course, PS Plus Extra and Premium are relatively new additions to the overarching service. Fans can expect some changes next year as they settle in, and one thing fans can already see potentially happening is more games leaving the service. As it stands, fans will probably see a number of additions that outpace removals every month, but just for one example,four games are leaving PS Plus Extra in January 2023:Bound by Flame,Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom,The Council - The Complete Season, andSpace Hulk: Tactics.
