June 2022 is shaping up to be a big month for PlayStation fans. Of course, there’s the rollout of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium on June 13, but there are also the free months from the Essential tier too. Not to mention, there’s aState of Playtaking place on June 2. While a ton of information is about to be revealed over the next couple of days, thePS Plusfree games for June 2022 have leaked online.
As many fans know, thePS Plusfree game selection has been an incredibly leaky ship over the past few months. Each month has been accurately leaked by Dealabs user Billbil-kun, but this leak does not come from this user. It should be taken with an extra grain of salt then, but it does line up with Billbil-kun’s recent comment. They said they would post the games on May 31, and that fans shouldn’t buy any ultra-popular games or any children’s games.
According to the sources of the website Areajugones, the three PS Plus free games will includeGod of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, andNickelodeon All-Star Brawl.God of Waris about as popular of a gameas they come, whileNickelodeon All-Star Brawlmakes sense for children. Fans will know for sure on June 1, as that is when Sony is expected to announce these, and perhaps even tomorrow if Billbil-kun confirms this leak as well. It should also be noted that Nick Baker, a known insider, has also commented that they heard this is legit.
It’s also possible that God of War’s presence as a PS Plus game could bemarketing forGod of War: Ragnarok. Sony’s State of Play is focused on third-party partners, but that doesn’t mean more information about the sequel won’t come out in June. And if it does, giving away the first game will build anticipation for the sequel. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see if Sony confirms this lineup, as well as how fans receive it overall.
