Rage 2is most certainly one of themost anticipated games of 2019. With previews displaying a colorful presentation, explosive gameplay, and a lethal post-apocalyptic wasteland,Rage 2has many promising elements for a riotously enjoyable first-person shooter. Now, just 11 days away from the game’s release,Rage 2has officially gone gold.

As announced on its official website,Rage 2publisher Bethesda enthusiastically states that the game has gone gold. In its blog post, Bethesda add that, given all the hype generated by events for the game, the announcement ofRage 2’sNBA Jamannouncer pre-order bonus, and other forms of appetite-whetting, “It’s clear the fun is just getting started, with less than a month to go before our hot pink global takeover.”

In the same post, Bethesda revealedRage 2’s performance on consoles. We already know thatRage 2’s file sizeis 30.83 GB on Xbox One, so it would be reasonable to expect something similar on PS4 and PC on that end. Regarding the game’s graphical performance,Rage 2will have a framerate cap of 30 FPS on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while the game will have a framerate cap of 60 FPS on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro as a result of being “focused on speed.“Rage 2will run at 1080p on all consoles with the exception of the standard Xbox One, on whichRage 2will run at 900p.
