Noel’s new character draws from Theresa Lee, who is inthe bookGone Tomorrow. In the source material, Lee works alongside Reacher to investigate a high-stakes case in New York City. In the Prime Video version, however, she’s paired with her NYPD partner Docherty and ultimately is intrigued by Reacher.
Our Take On Reacher’s New Female Lead
There is definitely some hope that, one day, maybe if the Prime Video series lasts long enough, showrunner and executive producer Nick Santora will subvert the trope of having every new co-lead be charmed by Ritchson’s character. It won’t happen in season 4, but at least Noel is a talented performer who can make it fun. It makesReachera bit more exciting whenever a release date is announced.
