Now, in order to prepare fans for the title’s launch, Rockstar Games has officially confirmed thatRDR2will have a Day One patch so as to make sure that the game’s stability is as top notch as possible.
Rockstar Games stated that the Day One patch forRed Dead Redemption 2has been carefully crafted in order “to ensure the best possible gameplay experience”, and the developer recommends that fans have it downloaded before playing. That said, though, the studio also acknowledges that due toRDR2’s rather large size and scope, the update likely won’t catch every issue at launch, so there’s a good chance players could encounter unforeseen bugs.
In addition toRed Dead Redemption’s Day One patch, Rockstar also briefly mentioned the game’s official companion app, which ought to be available for both iOS and Android users once the title has finally hits store shelves. However, the developer has yet to offer any specifics regarding theRDR2companion app, but if it’s designed similarly to other existing companion apps, players should expect to be able to use it for such things as customizing characters, tweaking in-game features, exploring lore, and more.
