Harry is beginning to accept the fact that he is now a human, while several others in Patience get increasingly anxious about the alien presence that is plaguing their home. This leads to tension between Harry and his son, Bridget, while Mayor Ben and his wife Kate decide to share their concerns with Deputy Liv. Meanwhile, D’Arcy wants to adopt a dog, but struggles to pass the preliminary checks.

Throughout the episode, he consistently has the most laugh-out-loud moments, and his interactions with characters like Asta and Max provide incredibly awkward humor that frames the show. Episode 5 also sees Harry trying to reconnect with Bridget after accepting his human side, which leads to some great interactions between the two.
After several episodes saw Harry take a backseat in the story, with only a few great moments, episode 5 is a return to form. However,Resident Aliencontinues to maintain the balance as the supporting characters get plenty of chances to shine in scenes where they appear in smaller groups; Max, Kate, Liv, and Mike share one incredible subplot throughout this episode.
The Story Is Finally Moving Forward In Resident Alien Season 4, Episode 5
It felt as though things were getting a little stale in the last batch of episodes, with most of the tension coming from characters refusing to engage with each other. This hurt season 4 on two fronts — there were fewer scenes where these characters shared the screen, and the story went around in circles.
Resident Alienseason 4, episode 5 stands out as one of the best from the season so far.
But episode 5 takes some significant leaps forward. Namely, with the end of the episode having Kate reveal her theory about aliens abducting her baby to Mike and Liv, and Harry disappearing right in front of Asta. Both of these moments set up some big developments for episode 6, and with just five episodes remaining this season, there is a lot of ground to cover.
Overall,Resident Alienseason 4 is once again delivering a wonderful balancein a narrow timeframe, and embracing the goofy humor that makes the show what it is. On top of that, the cast is firing on all cylinders, and the narrative is picking up, makingResident Alienseason 4, episode 5 stand out as one of the best from the season so far.
