One of the most bizarreCall of Dutygame modes is Prop Hunt, wherein some players take to the battlefield as the usual soldiers, and others take the form of random inanimate objects blending in with the environment. The strange and oftentimes hilarious game mode has been featured in multipleCall of Dutygames in the past, but has yet to appear inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, a datamine suggests that could be changing in the near future, and the mode may even come toCall of Duty: Warzonein some capacity.
This information stems from a datamine conducted by Geeky Pastimes a couple of days afterWarzoneSeason 4launched. According to Geeky Pastimes, there is potential evidence of Prop Hunt “somehow linked toWarzone” in the game’s files, though they conceded that it is possible it is something that they don’t understand exactly and could be misinterpreting. But while there is no actual confirmation that Prop Hunt is coming toWarzone, if it does, one has to imagine that it would come in the form of a limited-time event as opposed to a permanent game mode.

Prop Hunton such a large scale sounds like a lot of fun in theory, but in practice, it may not live up to expectations.Call of Dutyfans won’t know unless Infinity Ward tries it, so it would definitely be interesting to see a take on Prop Hunt in theCall of Duty:Warzonebattle royale.
A more likely scenario is Prop Hunt coming to the standardCall of Duty: Modern Warfaremultiplayer component. This seems like it would make the most sense, especially since Infinity Ward has already shown a willingness to throw unrealistic game modes into the standard multiplayer mix with stuff likeInfection.
It’s also possible that Prop Hunt isn’t going to be added toCall of Duty: Modern Warfare’s multiplayer or theWarzonebattle royale at all. Sometimes dataminers find stuff in game files that never actually get added to the game in any meaningful capacity, so fans should keep their expectations in check.
