Schedule 1has gotten yet another update, and along with it, the previously promised community vote for players to vote on what features will be added to the game next is also available now. Solo developer Tyler (owner of Tyler’s Video Game Studio) has been consistently updating the game and previously floated the idea that he was open to the game’s fans choosing what gets added in future updates. Now, he has delivered on his promise, and the choices are pretty substantial additions.

According to a post on the game’s recent events & announcements page onSteam, the first community vote todetermine what will be added to the game in subsequent updates is now live. Players can cast their votes from the game’s main menu. Players have until this coming weekend to cast their votes, the results of which will be announced shortly after that.

Tyler has been working virtually non-stop onSchedule 1since its release, and now that the game is in a better state than its initial release,he’s turning it over to the fans to help him chart a course for the future of the game.Schedule 1’s previous updateadded a few things, like inventory filters and employee behaviors, and that update is also now fully live and out of beta. In an update on Steam posted on June 8, Tyler announced he had set up the infrastructure needed for the community voting, and less than 48 hours later, the vote is now live.

Therearen’t a ton of detailsabout the potential additions to the game. Players will be able to see the results in-game in the main menu, though, and Tyler himself is excited about the voting, with him writing:“I’m looking forward to getting work on the next big thing for the game, so it’ll be great to make certain that my development plans align with what the community wants to see!“Based on this statement, it seems like Tyler has no plans to slow down or change theplannedSchedule 1updates, just add what fans want, in addition to making progress for his vision for the game.

Thethree options available for voting are: Rival Cartel Update, Police Expansion Update, and Shrooms Update. No other details were provided by Tyler, so it remains to be seen what the specifics are for these additions. There’s a lot of room forSchedule 1new features, so this fan-vote should make players happy. No timeline was provided either, but given how quickly Tyler has been working on the game and how transparent he’s been with fans,the selected update probably isn’t too far away.

Schedule 1seems to get better with every update, and with Tyler apologizing to fans recently for a delay in updates as he recovered from dental surgery, it is refreshing to see a developer be so transparent and honest with his community.
