Fortnitegets a lot of different quests and challenges for players to complete every week for extra XP towards the Battle Pass. Sometimes, these quests are straightforward to figure out, such as dealing damage to an opponent or collecting items from a certain named point of interest. However, someFortnitequests aren’t that simple and will require additional research from the player.
One of the recent quests that players can’t seem to figure out is thelocation of a landmark called Shipwreck Cove. Since this landmark isn’t a POI, its name will not appear on the map, and players will only know where it is once they find it themselves, or they can use this guide, of course. As simple as this quest sounds, most players aren’t going to know the location of Shipwreck Cove immediately.

Shipwreck Cove Location in Fortnite Season 8
InFortniteSeason 8, the landmark known as Shipwreck Cove can be found just southeast of Catty Corner, behind the snow-covered mountains. It’s called Shipwreck Cove because it’s just a small body of water with many abandoned ships. Players can easily travel here or just jump from the Battle Bus at the start of a match. Of course, players should be on the lookout for nearby opponents, as they could potentially have powerful weaponry and mess with the other player’s quest.
In order for theFortnitequestto be completed, players just need to wander around the landmark until the quest objective notification appears on the bottom of the screen and the XP is earned.
Fortniteis currently free-to-play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
