Throughout this series, Spider-Man and Wolverine have been hunted by a mysterious man named Dreadshadow, who teleports them from one obstacle to the next and one location to the next. After a sprint from the Savage Land to China to New York, the duo are met by Teresa Parker, who was recruited personally into the CIA by Nick Fury.
Someone of her caliber always comes prepared with her weaponry, but it’s not just the weaponry that tells the story, as much as it solidifies Teresa as one ofSpider-Man’s strongest family members. It’s the fact that she arrives with a massive accusation for her brother: Wolverine is the man who killed their parents.

For now, those consequences deepen Wolverine into Spider-Man’s origin story, but also make Teresa an enemy of Wolverine.
