The first ofStar Wars Battlefront‘s expansions,Outer Rim, is dropping on Jul 07, 2025 for $14.99 as a standalone download. That’s according to GameStop, which haspre-order listingsup for the DLC on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Considering one of the perks of the season pass is two-week-early access, this add-on will presumably be available to those folks on Tuesday, March 22.
Another retailer listingspecifiesthe four new maps included (two on Tatooine, two on Sullust): Jabba’s Palace, Palace Garage, SoroSuub Refinery, and SoroSuub Pipelines.
Besides those maps,Outer Rimalso adds Greedo and Nien Nunb as playable characters, Extraction mode, and an assortment of weaponry and Star Cards: the Relby V-10 rifle, DT-12 blaster pistol, Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim.
If it weren’t my job to cover games, I’d be saying “no thanks” to this specific pack and waiting for all of the season pass content (which is bundled together for $49.99) to come out before making any decisions. Who knows how lively theBattlefrontcommunity will be by then, though.
