The newestStory of SeasonsinstallmentPioneers of Olive Townwill take players to the forest, focusing on reclaiming the wild more than restoring an old farm. This will allow players more customization and layout options for the farm, such as the placement of buildings and possibly even landscaping. Developer XSEED Games might be taking some pages fromAnimal Crossing: New Horizon’s bookby allowing players more freedom, as well as more reign on customizing their characters.

After releasing trailers detailingthe bachelors and bachelorettes in Olive Town,Story of Seasonshas now unveiled the NPCs that will appear alongside them. Some of them include the pioneers that founded Olive Town, such as Simon and his wife Jesse, and others are the children around town, like Cindy, the younger sister of bachelor Jack.
Some NPCs on this list are getting players disappointed that they aren’t also possiblemarriage prospects forStory of Seasons. Some fans feel that the bachelors aren’t all that exciting and are sad to see that Clement’s younger brother Rash isn’t romanceable.
Beth, who is staying in the city to buy antiques, is also adorable but strangely doesn’t make the list ofOlive Town’s bachelorettes.
TheStory of Seasonsscreenshots also show off a young girl wearing a mask, who seemingly lives in the forest. Her name hasn’t yet been revealed, but players are already hoping they can adopt her in-game.
