Taylor Swifthas just given her biggest hint yet about her upcoming twelfth studio album. Swift releasedThe Tortured Poets Departmentin April 2024, and it went straight to #1. The singer thenadded a set for the album to her era’s tour, which concluded in December of the same year.
The pop star hasn’t released any new music since, but in June,Swift made the huge announcement that she officially ownsall of her work. It seems likeshe’s about to own another project, TS12, based on a recent Instagram post that sent Swifties into a frenzy.
Taylor Swift Seemingly Hinted Her Next Era Is Starting Soon
There have been rumors for the past few weeks thatTaylor Swift is ready for a comebackwith her next album. However, on August 11th,she finally confirmed that TS12is on its way. Her official Instagram updates page,Taylor Nation, shared a post in the morning, captioned"Thinking about when she said “See you next era.”
The caption is a reference to what Swift wrote at the end of her Eras Tour book, and the post contained twelve images. In every photo, Swift is wearing one of her orange costumes from the Eras Tour. Swift is known for associating albums with colors;her fourth album is calledRed, andSwifties were convinced TS12 would be orange.
The speculations were based on the many orange Eras Tour costumes she wore during the tour’s 2024 leg and some of her streetwear. Swifties have also theorized thatTS12 will be a love album, similar toher 2019 albumLover, except this time, about her current boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
The orange color scheme checks out as Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, whose colors are red and a yellow gold. Combine the colors, and orange would be the result. Taylor Nation’s post also fuelled some theories thatSwift will be collaboratingwith Sabrina Carpenter on the album, asthe “Manchild” singer appeared in the post’s last photo.

Right as Taylor Nation was sharing Easter Eggs about TS12,Swift’s boyfriend was fueling rumors of his own. Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce shared an image on theirNew Heights Podcast’s Instagram teasing a special guest on August 13th.
As Swifties know, 13 is Taylor Swift’s lucky number.Swift also matched the outline of the secret guestthey teased. Also, to match Swift’s TS12 theme, the background of the New Heights photo is a sparkly orange.
One of the biggest clues that the guest is Swift is thatJason Kelce is wearing an Eras Tour t-shirtin the promo photo. It seems likeTaylor Swiftis gearing up for a pretty big comeback era after her massively successful Eras Tour.
