The Bearoften makes excellent use of actor cameos, and season 4 didn’t disappoint in this regard.Though each installment stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edqin Lee Gibson, Abby Elliott, and more from episode to episode,The Beartends to bring in big Hollywood names to fill in the guest spots.In the case ofThe Bearseason 4,we saw the return of previous season’s cameos, in addition to a few more exciting faces.
This fourth installment ofThe Bearpicks up after Carmy and his staff finally readthe Chicago Tribune’s review of their restaurant. As they deal with the consequences of this, life goes on around them. Tiffany and Frank’s wedding, for example, becomes a key event of the season, and it naturally means the return of all the Berzatto’s and their extended family, including the infamous Francie Fak. Outside of this, we get to meet a member of Sydney’s extended family while a notable business consultant arrives to help The Bear.Each of theseTheBearcharactersis sure to look familiar.

Natalie’s Rival Finally Revealed To Be An MCU Star
We’ve known for a while inThe Bearthat Natalie has beef with a member of the Fak family. It was long implied that they had been friends, but something had gone down between them that ended the relationship. Now, in season 4,we finally got the chance to meet Francie in the flesh at Tiff’s wedding. Surprise, surprise, she looks just like Brie Larson.
Larson is an exciting addition to the guest cast ofThe Bear. She rose to fame as a teenager in projects likeScott Pilgrim vs. the World,21 Jump Street, andUnited States of Tara, butshe has since found even further notoriety playing Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Larson’s other notable projects includeLessons in Chemistry, which earned her nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
Rob Reiner As Albert Schnur
The Famed Director & Actor Logs On To Help The Bear Succeed
Rob Reiner appeared inThe Bearseason 4 playing a character named Albert Schnur. Albert met up with Ebraheim to discuss ways to expand The Beef, since it continued to be the most profitable aspect of Carmy’s The Bear. Looking at the numbers, Albert determined that it could be a good idea to open further locations for the Italian Beef sandwich stand. At the end ofThe Bearseason 4, Reiner’s character met up with the Computer and Uncle Jimmy, so it seems likely that this familiar actor and director will return forThe Bearseason 5.
Reiner is a Hollywood legend, known for projects likeAll in the Family,Sleepless in Seattle, andThe Wolf of Wall Street. He may be even more notable as a director,having been at the helm for iconic projects likeThe Princess Bride,When Harry Met Sally…,Misery,The Magic of Belle Isle, and more.
Danielle Deadwyler As Chantel
The Till Star Becomes A Member Of Sydney’s Family In The Bear
Also introduced inThe Bearseason 4 is Sydney’s cousin, Chantel, who does Syd’s hair from her home in this most recent batch of episodes. Chantel ends up having to make a run to the hair store before she can finish Sydney’s appointment, leaving her cousin to watch her daughter. This ultimately aids Sydney as she continues to struggle over the decision of staying with The Bear or taking Chef Adam Shapiro’s offer.
Deadwyler is known for her role in Netflix’s western film,The Harder They Fall. Prior to this, she gained notoriety for the soap operaThe Haves and the Have Nots, followed byP-Valley,Station Eleven, andFrom Scratch. More recently,Deadwyler has been celebrated for her portrayal of Mamie Till inTilland her work in the critically acclaimedThe Piano Lesson.
