The FlashSuper Bowl trailer finally revealed the trifecta of DC heroes that will star in the studios’ soft reboot of its cinematic universe. However, with only a few glimpses at some of their costumes in that preview, the newly revealed posters showcase Flash, Batman and Supergirl’s new looks.
WhileThe Flashfinished filming in late 2021 and some leaked set photos had already teased what Sasha Calle and Ezra Miller would look like in the movie, the new posters give fans the close-to-finished versions of the two. Conversely,Michael Keaton’s return as Batmanwas tightly kept under wraps, which is likely why his reveal donning the iconic cape and cowl once again was a fan favorite in the new trailer.

Shortly after,The Flash’s marketing team put out the first round of official movie posters on Twitter, three to be exact, with each featuring one of the DC heroes. In Barry Allen’s case, his suit doesn’t have the same powered-up “Speed Force” style, butBatman proudly puts the vintage black and yellowlogo up front. In Calle’s image, her photo was taken from the side, meaning there’s no sign of the iconic “S” that was already confirmed to be similar to Henry Cavill’s, albeit in slightly brighter colors.
Overall, Miller’s redesigned suit has divided fans’ opinions. Yet when it comes to Batman, several people love the classic 1989 look, with another TV spot forThe Flashshowing even more of Keaton’s Batman. He’s not alone, as Ben Affleck’s new suit bearing the older grey and blue colors with a hint of yellow also caught many people’s eyes.
Regardless, it’s been known for a while that Affleck will have a somewhat limited role inThe Flash, which is perhaps why he doesn’t get his own poster alongside the main trio of characters that will have to stop General Zod. However, even if Michael Shannon’s return is welcomed, some theorize that thefilm’s true villain could be a Reverse-Flashborn out of one of Barry’s variants.
The Flashis scheduled for release on July 20, 2025
