As the Helluvaerse continues to expand, popular YouTube seriesHelluva Bosswill be having its first crossover soon, which lead voice actor Brandon Rogers recently talked about enthusiastically in an interview.Helluva Bossis set in the same iteration of Hell as Prime Video’s hit animated musical seriesHazbin Hotel; the two shows focus on different sets of characters with different goals, who, up until now, have not interacted. However, going intoHelluva Bossseason 3andHazbin Hotelseason 2, it was announced thatHelluva Bosswould be released on Prime first, and a crossover was strongly hinted at.
Internet personality and comedian Brandon Rogers voices Blitzø, the founder of I.M.P., a company of assassins at the center ofHelluva Boss. During an interview withNerd Reactor,Rogers said that theHelluva Boss/Hazbin Hotelcrossover is coming, but “[he doesn’t] think fans will ever guess in what way they come together.“Joking that he doesn’t think the creator of both series, Vivienne Medrano, is hyper-concerned about what he reveals, Rogers obliquely teased character interactions without giving too much away and seemed to confirm that he has seen a script for the crossover. The laser from Viv’s sniper rifle is not on my head at the moment, so I think we’re good. But yeah, the characters do interact. I can’t necessarily speak as to which ones interact with each other. But it is crazy looking at a script and seeing Hazbin characters next to your character’s name. I’m a fan of both shows. I don’t think the fans will ever guess in what way they come together. I think it’s brilliant how these characters do collide at some point, but I don’t think anyone’s expecting it in this fashion. So I’m very excited to see how people react to when that finally does come.

I.M.P & The Hazbin Hotel Will Meet & It Is Sure To Be Hilarious Chaos
Despite recent marketing indicating that a crossover was coming, it is incredibly exciting to see one of the stars actually talking about this. For the sake of spoilers, Rogers conceals which characters' interactions will be at the forefront, but there are many possible pairings to focus on.It’s a given that “VivziePop” will show more of Blitzø andHazbin Hotel’s Charlie (Erika Henningsen),but I could also see Blitzø liking Niffty’s (Kimiko Glenn) frenetic energy or Angel’s (Blake Roman) perpetual horniness.
It would also be interesting to see which of theHelluva Bosscharactersthe more subdued personalities of Husk (Keith David) and Vaggie (Stephanie Beatriz) would take too — I could see either of them being good friends with Moxxie (Richard Steven Horvitz) or Loona (Erica Lindbeck).Hazbin HotelandHellva Boss’crossover is likely to be a one-off adventure, so both shows can carry on with their own plots— which means Rogers is spot-on in his comments, as the best part of it is going to be seeing the contrast between the characters.

Charlie & Blitzø’s Interactions Have Huge Potential For Thematic Contrasts
What I would expect from the Hellaverse crossover is thathappy-go-lucky Princess Charlie somehow stumbles across Blitzø’s business, and is horrified by I.M.P. murdering for profit.BothHazbin HotelandHelluva Bossremove themselves from realistic morality, featuring a lot of comical violence that isn’t taken seriously in order to advance other themes. However, Charlie’s character is somewhat out of place in this setting, as she usually tries to avoid violent confrontations.
I am eager to see the way Charlie and Blitzø’s characters collide, beyond being friendly with each other when they are advertising their respective shows in a non-canon (I believe) interaction. But Charlie has fought and killed angels to protect her own; while Blitzø runs a murder business, he is trying to combat Hell’s discrimination against Imps by giving himself and his found family this career.Helluva Bosscrashing an episode ofHazbin Hotel(or vice versa) is rife with potential as the shows' different but complementary themes will have to reckon with each other.
