Screen Rant has the first look atSpeed Racer: Tales from the Road #1, a new one-shot by Mark Landon, Sebastián Píriz, Rex Lokus, and Buddy Beaudoin. This issue will be the first in a brand-new series of one-shot stories setin theSpeed Raceruniverseand this debut issue puts the mysterious Racer X front and center.
Interpol sends Racer X on a mission to take down a powerful criminalknown as the Viking, which leads to a chase across a European city full of dangers lurking around every corner. The issue will also feature a backup story starring the lovable characters Spritle and Chim-Chim, who take Speed Racer’s Mach 5 out for a joyride.
