Sega has announced that its upcomingThor: God of ThunderandCaptain America: Super Soldiergames will be in 3D on any platform that supports it.

The Nintendo 3DS versions of the game announced today will obviously support the handheld’s glasses-free 3D. But so will the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, provided you have one of those 3D televisions.

“Playing as Captain America with bullets whizzing past in stereoscopic 3D and having a titanic Frost Giant charge straight at you in Thor will bring an unprecedented level of adrenaline to the gameplay experience,” says Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Sega.

Well, actually, that sounds terrifying. But I’m willing to give it a go when both games ship later this year. I just hope it doesn’t mess up my hair.
