Through an adjusted roadmap, the team behindWildshas made an anticipated hunt available early. This new, challenging quest is being released at the perfect time to crossover with an already planned event, which adds tons of cosmetics for players already.

Two big updates are taking place on both July 22 and August 15, 2025,the inclusion of Arch Tempered Uth Duna and the Festival of Accord: Flamefeteevent. The seasonal event for the summer has always been scheduled to start on July 23, lasting until August 14, 2025. Now, AT Uth Duna is also included aspart of the update’s free content, releasing one week earlier than planned.

Both Large Content Drops Are Happening At The Same Time

Through an update to their roadmap, Capcom is having AT Uth Duna and the Flamefete Festival take place around the same time. These aretwo large additions to the game, as a new Arch Tempered monster immediately creates a new challengefor players to beat. For a long time, thedifficulty ofMH Wildshas been a complaint of long-time fans, with Arch Tempered creatures acting as a solution with far greater health and damage.

Including Arch Tempered Uth Duna early gives players a head start to take on the juiced-up monsterand claim its unique parts. Players can craft Uth Duna gamma gear sets from its Arch Tempered variant, which have special skills for endgame builds. If these skills are anything like those from Arch Tempered Rey Dau’s gamma gear, they will be worth getting.

Arch Tempered monsters used to only be available for a limited time. With Arch Tempered Uth Duna’s release, however, both it andAT Rey Dau are permanent questsplayers can embark on whenever they want.

Hunting AT Uth Duna early also goes hand-in-hand with the Flamefete Festival event, which provides even more cosmetics for players. This event changes the look of the Grand Hub, but itsmain attraction is the new summer-themed items you can getfor Alma, Gemma, Erik, and your Seikret and Palico companions.

The majority of the cosmetics from Flamefete are free, giving you fiery new customization options to use as you please. A new support hunter, the legendary Lance wielder Fabius, is also available to join quests during the event, giving you a powerful ally to take on AT Uth Duna. If you participate in themed events, you can earn tickets to collect even more items as you play at the same time.

Monster Hunter Wilds Might Add Content Faster Than Expected

By making AT Uth Duna’s quest show up a week early, the developers may be planning torelease content from Title Updatesat a much faster rate. According to the Reddit post below, Capcom has updated their roadmap, showing two new Title Update timeframes. Apparently,Title Update 3 is planned now for Late September instead of Winter, with a new Title Update 4 planned for Winter 2025.

This inclusion of a brand-new Title Update for 2025 is huge, as another monster will be added to the game along with even more content from another seasonal event. With"Various Improvements"and"Expanded End-Game Content"planned as well in each update,Monster Hunter Wildsmight have a bright future with more content per year than any player could have expected.
