Anno,Assassin’s Creed,Brothers in Arms,Far Cry,Might & Magic,Prince of Persia,Rayman,Silent Hunter,The Settlers,Tom Clancy,Trials, andWatch Dogsare all robustly represented on Uplay+. If it’s a Ubisoft game made available on PC in the past 20 years, it’s likely to be in the Uplay+ game library. Ubisoft will also offer the Gold/Deluxe/Premium Edition versions of each game so as to make as much DLC available as possible.
For the foreseeable future, Uplay+ will be limited to PC and the Uplay storefront. Most Ubisoft games are multiplatform and available on PC but a scant few titles, such as theNintendo Switch exclusiveMario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, are out of the question. If Uplay+ eventually comes to other platforms, then any exclusive games or DLC could then possibly become available within the subscription service.
Uplay+ is Ubisoft’s response to the growing trend of subscription services offered by its competitors. Electronic Arts offers EA Access on consoles and Origin Access on PC. The Xbox team now hasXbox Game Pass on both PC and Xbox One. And cloud gaming subscription services like Google Stadia and PlayStation Now are a different but similar alternative.
Ubisoft has made available the full list of over 100 games included with a Uplay+ subscription, though the list is subject to change without notice:
All games marked with an (*) may not include all DLC typically associated with that specific edition of the game.
The one detail left for Ubisoft to clarify is how Uplay+ will approach its new game and DLC releases. In the Uplay+ trailer, “Early Access to New Releases” is a headline. It’s not clear, however, whether this will include early access for all new Ubisoft game releases or just some, or if it will include DLC content offered like forWatch Dogs Legion’s Season Pass. Even if they don’t offer early access, new Ubisoft games are confirmed to eventually come to Uplay+.
