Not all crafting materials inStarfieldare easy to find. Some seem locked by player level, while others hide away in star systems that are probably too tough for newer players. The High-Tensile Spidroin inStarfieldcounts itself among these, but we know where to find it. You better pack some warm-weather gear.

If you’re looking for High-Tensile Spidroin inStarfield, then you probably need it for some advanced projects. The resource is used for level 3 helmet and space suit upgrades, so it makes sense that such high-level crafting would require material that’s tough to locate. The High-Tensile Spidroin is a unique organic resource, meaning the best way to find it is likely to harvest it from certain plants. But which plants, and where?

where and how to find High-Tensile Spidroin Starfield material

Time to hit the frozen slopes

According to themost learned folks online, you can harvest High-Tensile Spidroin from a certain plant found only on Linnaeus II in the Linnaeus system. The star system near Olympus and easily reachable if you’re hanging out in friendly systems like Alpha Centauri and Sol. Despite being in the cosmic neighborhood, Linnaeus looks like it could be tough to handle for lower-level players.

Linnaeus is a level-45 star system, but luckily for us, we won’t need to get into any scraps. In fact, the worst thing about the planet is the frozen temperature. For the most part, I didn’t run into any hostile fauna while searching for the Spidroin. It was pretty chilly, though.

To find the High-Tensile Spidroin, go to either the Mountains or Frozen Mountains biome. You need to find aplant called the Frigid Palm. It’s green and looks like a cactus with tendrils hanging off. Pressing the action key or button will let you harvest the resource directly from the plant.

Where to purchase High-Tensile Spidroin in Starfield

From what I can gather, the resource may appear in some stores once you reach level 30. Some shops that could carry it includeJemison Mercantileand the UC Exchange in Cydonia. Because the stuff is so rare, you may have to jet around for a while orwait and pass some time. The easiest method appears to be harvesting it from Linnaeus II. But be sure to keep a lookout at your favorite shop. You never know when it might appear.
