Wade Wilson’s gray X-Force costume has become one of the hero’s most iconic alternate looks outside his classic red and black suit, and the tradition is officially beingpassed down to his daughter’s version of Deadpool. The costumes marked one of the few times that the original Deadpool and Wolverine were in an established team together, in 2010-2012’sUncanny X-Force.
As a deadlier type of X-Men team, the X-Force’s costume color palette signified that the team literally worked in the gray area. Although the classic versions of Deadpool and Wolverine famously fought together in their gray gear, Laura also had her own version of the suit sinceshe was on an X-Force teambefore Wade, in 2008’sX-Forceas X-23.
Ellie’s version of the gray suit is brand-new, but stillcarries her mentor Taskmaster’s logoinstead of the X for X-Force. As the four split up, with Ellie going on a side-quest with the original Wolverine for the very first time, she may be learning a thing or two about being a deadly mutant hero from the best there is.
