With only a few weeks to go until release, a new gameplay-focused trailer has been released by Retrosoft Studio for the developer’s upcoming arcade-style fighter,RetroMania Wrestling.
The new trailer, which focuses on all the unique modes, matches, and wrestlers that players can choose from, also reveals that matches inRetroMania Wrestlingcan include up to 8 wrestlers at any given time, promising for some chaotic results over the game’s 50 possible match types.

The official sequel to theWrestleFest, the 1991 arcade hit,RetroManiawill include 16 classic wrestlers across decades of wrestling history including Tommy Dreamer, Colt Cabana, and the Blue Meanie, among others. Retrosoft has also stated that post launch DLC could come if the game has a successful launch.
RetroMania Wrestlingbegan as a love letter to thedays of yore in wrestling games, with arcades being dominated by games likeWWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game,WWF Superstars,andWWF WrestleFest. While the unique genre has faded away due to the popularity of sim-style wrestling, Retrosoft Studio set out to bring things back to basics and hit every nostalgia button possible for fans of the old days.
RetroManiawill include themuch coveted classic story modelike the original game, where players will take on the role of Johnny Retro recovering from an injury. As Johnny, players will have to battle their way back to the championship and make decisions that will impact who they face and who will become friend or foe.
WhileRetroMania Wrestlingwill primarily be available digitally, hardcore fans can expect a physical release via Limited Run Games, though quantities will be of course be limited.RetroManiawill also be one of the many games launching on the iiRcade Cabinet, a newly crowdfunded arcade machine.
RetroMania Wrestlinglaunches February 26th on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
